PPET Chart

Aron Melt PPET series are hot-melt adhesives developed for bonding polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyester (PET), nylon, and other materials which have been difficult to bond because of low surface energy and high crystallinity. PPET series provides a wide selection, promising development of lighter products, cost reduction, higher productivity, and many other advantages.

PPET granules, blocks, or solutions are available depending on PPET grade selected. There are other specific grades such as an inflammable grade for electric use, excellent resistance-to-heat,  one (solution type) for metal bonding, and web grade for automotive use.

FEATURES

  1. Hot-melt bonding of PP, PE, PET, nylon and other difficult-to-bond materials is possible with these products. These can be also used for bonding materials such as commodity plastic materials, thermosetting resins, fibers, woods, papers, and ceramics.
  2. The excellent low-temperature characteristics make them applicable to be used at the temperature of -30°C.  Some grades can be used for applications up to 80-100°C.
  3. There are specific grades which are composed of raw materials approved by FDA in PPET Series for the application of foodstuff packaging.
  4. Common hot-melt applications, hot-melt coating machines, slit coating machines and hot-melt roll coating machines can now be used.
  5. You can replace conventionally used materials with polypropylene, polyethylene or polyester, drastically reducing the cost and weight of your products.
